Entropy Welcomes Rick Rosson, Principal Software Engineer

Rick Rosson

Rick has more than 30 years of experience in software engineering, data analytics, digital signal processing, and project management.  Prior to joining Entropy, Rick served as a Senior Applications Engineer for 9 years at MathWorks, the developer of MATLAB and Simulink technical computing software, with a focus on digital signal processing and embedded software development.  He also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at MIT Lincoln Laboratory implementing novel detection and tracking algorithms for radar systems, and at NEC Energy Solutions developing control systems for grid-scale energy storage systems.  Earlier in his career, Rick spent more than 12 years implementing process improvement strategies, including Lean Thinking and Six Sigma, primarily in manufacturing operations.  He has deep expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, and C/C++.  Rick holds a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Boston University, a Master of Science in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Dartmouth College.
