Distinguished Member, Technical Staff, Wireless Systems
Randy has over 30 years’ experience in developing wireless systems and products from concept to commercialization. He has held various technical and managerial roles at Motorola, Freescale, and two wireless startups before joining Entropy. His responsibilities have included new system and IC architecture definition, and the management of global, multi-discipline engineering teams responsible for design & development activities. He has also participated in strategic planning, product definition, and customer acquisition/ support meetings both domestically and abroad. Currently, Randy is responsible for the definition and development of the wireless aspects of Entropy’s technology in his role as Distinguished Member, Technical Staff. In addition to his wireless expertise, Randy also has experience in the electrical power industry having worked for a distribution co-op and the Midcontinent Area Power Pool (MAPP).
Randy resides in Johns Creek, Georgia with his wife Deborah. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors, fishing, and playing the drums in local blues and rock bands.
